Admitted to legal practice in 1980 Angus was a partner with a respected legal firm where he specialized in criminal law.
From 1993 to 2006 was a Member of the Legislative Council.
After returning to legal practice Angus resumed work as a criminal lawyer before joining Elliott Johnston Chambers in 2009.
As a barrister Angus has developed a reputation as fearless criminal law advocate.
