Miranda accepts briefs in criminal, traffic and disciplinary matters, both to appear as counsel and to provide advice.

She regularly appears as counsel in trials and sentencing matters in the District Court, Magistrates Court and Youth Court. She has also appeared as counsel in appeals and bail reviews in the Supreme Court. Prior to joining the Bar, Miranda also instructed on appeals in the Court of Appeal and the High Court of Australia.

Miranda previously worked as a solicitor both in private practice and at the Legal Services Commission of South Australia. She was also previously employed as a trial prosecutor at both the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (SA) and at South Australia Police.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is admitted in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia.

Miranda is a member of the South Australian Bar Association.
